A yummy easy snack!
My kids and day care kiddos love it when they can be the chef! We do this often, sometimes as a snack. Super simple! All you need are three ingredients. Cheese sticks, sliced pepperoni and crescent rolls! You take the cheese stick and cut it in half. Unroll your crescent rolls and place three slices of pepperoni on top of the crescent roll. Place half of cheese stick on top. Roll crescent roll up. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. My kids love having a bowl of warm pizza sauce to dip these in!

Super Awesome Cupcakes
...for a super awesome birthday boy! :)
Yesterday was our youngest child's 8th birthday! Where has the time gone?!
Since I am an in home day care provider, I decided to do a mini birthday party with the day care kids. It was a lot of fun creating these cupcakes and the kids thought they were really cool too! I used a white cake mix and prepared it according to the package directions. Then I dived the batter and adding food coloring gel to make the colors red, green, blue, yellow and purple. Using a funnel, I poured the different colors of batter into the picnic ketchup and mustard type bottles. I then layered the different colors of cake batter into the cupcake liners and baked according to package directions. Very cool and easy and turned boring cupcakes into awesome fun ones!

Homemade Cheeze-Its
A lot of people have been asking for the recipe for homemade cheeze-its and here it is! I can't believe how simple they were to make and how AMAZING they taste! Just like the ones you buy in the store!
Homemade Cheeze-Its
1 cup all purpose flour
4 Tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
1 (7 ounce) bag of shredded sharp cheddar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
5 Tablespoons cold water
Combine flour, butter, shredded cheese, salt and paprika in medium sized bowl. Stir until mixture is crumbly. Stir in water, 1Tablespoon at a time until dough comes together, similar to making pie crust. Wrap dough in plastic wrap, press and shape into a flat circle. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Place dough between two sheets of parchment paper, roll to 1/8-inch thickness. Carefully flip over and gently peel off top paper. Use pizza cutter and cut into desired sized squares. Carefully transfer squares onto parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes until crackers are slightly brown. Store in air tight container for up to five days. If crackers become "chewy" pop them in oven at 350 degrees for ten minutes. Enjoy! :)
